Liesl's Story
Our First Graduate Update:
Liesl Thomas, Class of 1978

It is BMS legend that Liesl Thomas is the little girl in the logo with
the ponytail.  Her parents Jim and Nancy Thomas along with
other local parents founded the Brighton Montessori School in
1976.  Liesl attended from 1976 – 1978.  Now she has a four-
year old son who is also attending a Montessori school in
Denver.  Liesl graduated from Brighton High School in 1991 and
afterwards spent time living in Mexico and traveling and working
in Europe.  She is now working towards a Masters degree in
Nonprofit Management from Regis University.  She plans to work
as an executive in a human services nonprofit organization in
Denver upon her graduation this summer.  Liesl is also working
with BMS to organize the Alumni and Parent group and is
working with the Board of Directors as the school's acting
administrator. She looks forward to getting in touch with old
friends and classmates.
